Salman-Katrina, hottest couple of the decade

In a poll conducted by MSN India, Shah Rukh Khan was declared as the actor of the decade.

Other than that, Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were voted as the hottest couple of the decade.

Shah Rukh topped the poll with 29 percent votes followed by Aamir Khan with 26percent and Amitabh Bachchan with 16 percent votes.

For the couple of the decade, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif out beat couples like Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai, Bipasha Basu-John Abraham and Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor.

Of the 38,648 readers who responded for ‘Hottest couple of the Decade’ category, 36 percent opined that Salman and Katrina made for a greater couplethan Abhishek-Aishwarya who got 27 percent votes, followed by Bipasha and John with 13 percent votes while Kareena and Saif got only six percent votes.

Katrina also topped the ‘Hottest Body of the Decade’ poll with 33 percent votes and proved that her curves are more attractive than Bipasha, who got 13 percentvotes, Aishwarya Rai Bachcan (10 percent) and Priyanka Chopra (9 percent).

Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Aag’ was voted ‘Flop of the Decade’ and it won hands down with 48 percent votes followed by ‘Drona’, ‘Love Story 2050′ and ‘Tashan’.

For the ‘Hottest Lip Lock of the Decade’ poll 39 percent thought that Emraan Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat’s kissing in “Murder” was more sincere than Hrithik-Aishwarya in “Dhoom 2″ (21 percent). It was followed by Saif-Kareena in “Kurbaan” (16 percent) and R. Madhavan-Vidya Balan in “Guru” (7 percent).

Shahid Kapoor played a major role in the release of Love Aaj Kal

When Imtiaz Ali was about to sign Love Aaj Kal he did not quote his price to producer Saif Ali Khan until Jab We Met released, on Shahid Kapoor’s advice.

Imtiaz recounts, “After Jab We Met was ready for release Shahid gave me some really valuable advice. He told me never to fix my price before my film was out. He was like, I am telling you because you are stupid about things like this; wait to see how the movie fares. Don’t fix your price now. And thanks to him I think I got a little moremoney than I would have ideally for Love Aaj Kal.”

He also adds, “He was the first guy to believe that Jab We Met could be a hit, ahead of me, ahead of Kareena, ahead of anyone else. And he was right.”

Barbara claims she is stronger than Hrithik

Kites has not been an easy film for Hrithik. The actor shot a number of action scenes and even injured himself quite a few times.

In once instance, he had injured his ankle, on another occasion he deeply cut his wrist and was rushed to the hospital.

Interestingly his leading lady Barbara Mori too had to do some stunts in the film but she was lucky enough never to be injured.

“Unlike Hrithik I didn’t had major injuries but yes I did have some while shooting, I guess I am stronger than him,”

the Mexican actress laughs out.

Now i’m sure, this will give Hrithik a complex big time.. 

Katrina Kaif wants to remain unique

While most bollywood celebrities like Shahrukh Khan to Salman to Hrithik to Akshay to Abhishek is on either Twitter or Facebook, or both, there are a few exceptions that aren’t keen to open an account on these popular socialnetworking websites. Katrina Kaif is one of them.

Although there are several Katrina Kaif accounts on both Facebook and Twitter, the fact is, they are fake.

“I don’t understand this. Aren’t stars supposed to be exclusive? Or should they be so accessible that everything in their life should be out in the open? From what they eat to what they drink to what they wear… I can’t bring myself to this. That’s the reason why I am not on Facebook or Twitter. Why would people spend money to watch stars on screen, when anyone and everyone could connect with them so easily?” Katrina said.

I feel that even stars do need a platform to air their views. Yes it’s important to draw a line and not get too personal, like some actors actually do.

Dev insists on seeing Freida as the Bond Girl

Freida Pinto’s lover Dev Patel insists that he would love to see Freida to be a part of the super-spy series though she has dismissed reports of playing the next Bond Girl.

“She is stunning. There have been rumours about her being a Bond girl on the next film. I would love her to get the role, she’d be amazing,” Patel was quoted as saying.

Pinto had earlier admitted that she’s too “young” to be a part of ‘Bond 23′, which will be helmed by filmmaker Sam Mendes.

But would Patel ever like to step into the shoes of the British agent and play the 25-year-old beauty’s on-screen lover once again?

“I’m not sure I could ever play 007 though. I’m too much of a wimp,” said Patel, who had starred alongside Pinto in Slumdog Millionaire.

Loneliness taking a toll on Katrina health

Katrina Kaif is all alone these days. She is feeling so lonely in spite of the presence on her boyfriend Salman Khan in the city, which is in turn taking a toll on her health.

Katrina revealed that she is beginning to miss her family more and more. Her mother Sussane Turquotte can’t live with her in Mumbai, as she is committed to a cause in Nilangarai, Tamil Nadu. Her younger sister Isabelle is in New York studying acting and the rest of her family are not in the mood to leave England. So, she is left all alone in Mumbai, working day in and day out to fulfill her dream.

She admitted that she doesn’t know what to do all alone at home and doesn’t bother about her food. She has even lost a few kilos of late due to eating disorder.

“I keep wondering if it is the heat that has caused this loss of appetite. Honestly, I don’t know. Something is bothering me and I can’t pin-point what it is. But I just feel that if my family was around, I would enjoy a normal home life. It’s nice to have people at the dinner table,’’ a magazine quoted her saying so.

Well Katrina, wealth is not everything in life. May be it is a call to settle down and start a family of her own. What say girl?

After Deepika, its Katrina to go on a date with Shammi Kapoor

Veteran actor Shammi Kapoor who asked Deepika Padukone over a cup of coffeejust few days back, is planning his next date with Deepika’s rival Katrina Kaif.

A source revealed that Shammi Kapoor had expressed his desire to have coffee with Katrina. However, when asked, Katrina just ignored the question.

Katrina has been linked with Kapoor Jr. Ranbir ever since she appeared opposite him in a romantic-comedy “Ajab Gajab Ki Prem Kahani”. However, the two have often denied such talks.

Wonder, if the coffee beans with Shammi Kapoor can create some spice in Kat-Ranbir relationship?

The Mexican beauty Barbara Mori who will be seen opposite Hrithik in upcoming flick Kites says she would love to work with Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan.

After venturing into Bollywood and sharing good friendship with Hrithik’s wife Suzzane the actress says,

“My best friend in India is Sussanne Roshan. I am good friends with Hrithik too. But Sussanne really gets a bit personal when it comes to taking care of me. She will keep me at bay from the ‘do not do that’ or ‘do not go for that’ list.”

It was heard that Hrithik and Suzzane took Barbara to meet Shahrukh and wife Gauri to his Mannat. So what she felt about the actor,

“Shahrukh Khan was really nice as a host on that day and as a person. Shahrukh has got a very big heart. He takes care of his guests a lot.”

On being asked if she would like to work with SRK in future, she replies,

“Yes, I’d love to work with Shahrukh Khan. I haven’t seen any films of his but I can say he is a great actor from what I hear and have been told by Sussanne and Hrithik.”Well, Barbara, God know’s what is in store for you..

Salman has a heart of Gold

Salman, the hunk can be described as a true star with a heart of gold. Recently while filming for his upcoming venture ‘ Dabangg’ in Panchgani, the unpredictable Salman displayed his compassionate side and refused to kill a fish for his lunch.

When Salman was shooting for Dabangg, the crew spent five days in catching a 4 ft big whooper as Salman loves fish for lunch, but when Salman saw the fish trying to get away from the clutches, he ordered them to let it go.

Shahrukh ill due to excessive work load!!

Bollywood badshah, Shah Rukh Khan is down with fever and cold. The actor-producer, who is not shooting for his home production Ra.1 but handling the production activities, however, did not lose his sense of humour despite being numb with cold.

He wrote on his Twitter account from the film sets,

“strange v call cold a cold, while the body is warm”.

Explaining his condition, he wrote,

“words are floating and melting as i touch them with the heat & cold.”

He informed that his new film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, will take some time a bit to hit the screens.

“Visual effects take very long in post production,” Shah Rukh wrote.

The 44-year-old superstar is playing a super-hero in Ra.1, which is the acronym for ‘Random Access-Version One’.

“Ra.1 means random access version one, will understand when u see the film. Ra.1 site will be up soon/have no film with Kajol or Yashji right now/don’t dance too well, I just try hard/I am the hero in Ra.1,” the actor wrote.

Katrina, not ready to give advices

Katrina Kaif says she is greatful to many people in the film industry and has many to thank for helping reach where she is today in her career. People like Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar not only helped her with people but also advised her on scripts.

However now that Katrina is in the top spot with an experience of seven years to back her up she says she is still not ready to advice anyone else.

“The only guidance or advice I have given anyone is to stand by the film even if you feel you made a mistake. Be loyal to all your films,”
says Katrina.

The actress’s younger sister Isabella was supposed to join the industry too. However Kat says there will be time before she gets into acting and it will be upto her where she wants to try her luck – India or in the west.

“My sister is still studying in America right now,” reveals Katrina.

I’m sure Kats will lend a super helping hand to her her sister so as to achieve the no.1 position in the industry.

Arshad-Tusshar caught smoking in school campus

In a recent incident, NOTE (National Organization for Tobaco Eradication) summoned Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor after they were caught smoking in a school campus. These actors were shooting in Goa for ‘Golmaal 3′ when this indecent happened and Arshad was even caught on camera with a lighted cigarette.

Should they be punished for this act??? What is your opinion???

Sonam Kapoor -Punit Malhotra are NOT dating

Sonam Kapoor is not dating anyone. The reports of her link-up with her director Punit Malhotra have also been denied.

Punit, who is directing Sonam in his upcoming film “I Hate Luv Stories” has denied that he is going around with the actress. In fact Punit feels that the media is cooking up the stories out of their own imagination when the truth is not that.

The director accepts that such link-up stories disturb him and he cannot figure out the reason why such baseless reports are published.

Punit is kicked about his film “I Hate Luv Stories” which is produced by Dharma Productions and stars Sonam and Imran Khan in the lead.
